Bob and I met shortly after I started working at a security agency back in 2013 when I was 33 and a half years old. He was the Coolest Security Supervisor and one of the best people I have ever met a had the rewarding pleasure to work with and know. We got along the very instant we met and over the years had some of the greatest conversations. There were times in my life things weren't going too well, but it was always at the Right moment that G-d would send me Bob to give me great advice and to give me the hopes and inspirations that I need to keep going. Both of us were good listeners and I think that's why many times over the years Bob would stop at my post and hang out and talk about his day while having a cigarette. It's hard to imagine that he's really gone. He was like that cool uncle who you wish that he would live forever and would always be a part of your life. It makes me sad that I didn't get to say goodbye. I wish that I could of gone to his funeral, but no one Notified me that he had passed until yesterday September 18th, 2023.
Bob will be sorely missed and will always be remembered.

First off, I wanted to extend my deepest condolences to the Brinkley family and his wife. 

I moved to Arizona in 2019 promoted to a manager. I was introduced to Bob as one of our supervisors and got to speak with him solo. We sat down and ensure me of two things: I will take care of our vehicles and our guards. He kept his word everyday and it was shown in our officers. Bob had been such a pivotal person in my life and I am definitely going to miss our Thursday afternoon chats in the Vet Sec parking lot.  

Bob, thank you for everything you done and the impact that have made. We love you and we see you again! Yes Indeedy! 

Condolences to the Brinkley Family for your loss.   I've only known "Bob"  for 5 years we worked together at VetSec Security.   I have very fond memories of him.  He was a good soul and would put a smile on my face every time we spoke .   We would have conversations of the days gone by  of Chandler and other things.
My mother's family were raised in Chandler so we had a common ground to talk about.   Bob you will be missed dearly ; by myself and others who had the great pleasure of meeting you.

Mr. Bob Brinkley, you have always showed me nothing but kindness and respect. You have been nothing but good to me and I cant believe you are gone. If I had known, our last conversation would have been completely different. One day you told me you respected me and would be there for me if I ever needed it. I will never forget how much that meant to me when you said that. You weren't just my co worker but a good friend that I will cherish forever. Rest easy Bob. I miss you very much. 

I remember my birthday of 2021, I left my cake at maryann’s house which was Bob’s residence. I was told Bob likes sweets n he later helped himself with that cake. My first reaction was laughter, followed by joy bcuz I had hoped that at least someone else had enjoyed it even if it was not me. Bob was always kind to me even when I lived there for a while, telling stories about Africa n Cameroon. Alwz watching the news… may his memory live forever ! RIP sir 💔

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m so glad he had you to enjoy life with after Ms. Pat died. We have known Uncle Bobby since my son was a baby, over 22 years now. Mom, Dad, &  my son Ricky would go to the sand dunes camping with Uncle Bobby and others when my son was a toddler. They had such great fun. Uncle Bobby was also pretty good at dominoes when my parents would go over & have dinner & dominoes night with him & Ms. Pat when my son was little, because we were neighbors for a long time before leaving the area in 2012. I’m thankful Uncle Bobby picked up where my Dad left off keeping my son on the straight & narrow as well as helping him when need be with vehicle questions & things that I his mom didn’t know.
Uncle Bobby you will be greatly missed on earth, but you are now with the angels, as well as your Dad, my Dad Al & Amy - my sister & whoever else went before you. It’s just hard to believe you are now gone just like that & I had spoken with you shortly after losing my sister in July. God Speed & Rest in Peace & play the heck out of those dominoes. We will definitely miss your fun personality as well as your tell it like it is truth, even if people didn’t like to hear the truth. Prayers to Catherine & all the family as you grieve through & find your new normal.
