Robert Brown, 82 of Sun Lakes, AZ, passed away January 27, 2015. Bob was born in Brattleboro, VT on April 19, 1932. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Delphine Brown and sister Dorothy Chamberlin. Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edie, sons Eric Addison Brown of Monrovia, MD and Neil McCall Brown of Chicopee, MA, grandson Edward (Ted) Brown of Tempe, AZ, sister Alice Moody of Tampa, FL and cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob grew up in Vernon, VT. He graduated from Bellows Falls, VT High School and attended Norwich University in VT. Bob was an U.S. Air force Veteran. He spent one year as a tech instructor at Amarillo, TX, 3 years in Okinawa where he was part of the 93rd Fighter Interceptor Squadron. He retired from United Technologies after 32 years. Services will be held Monday, Feb. 2nd at 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ. Interment will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
