Robert H. Campbell, 83, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away on Aug. 29th at Mt. Vista Medical Center, after a long hard fought battle with cancer. Bob was born Oct. 27, 1928 in Fordson, Mich. son of Omer and Lula (Morrison) Campbell. Bob worked at many different jobs over the years, but always found time to help anyone in need and casually remind you who really was the one in charge of things. He will be greatly missed by all that head the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife Martha, son Richard of Norwalk, Cal., daughters Dixie Sidney, Ohio, Diane of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dolly of Mesa, Arizona, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Bruce in 2003. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Mariposa Gardens, 400 S. Power Rd., Mesa with final resting place being Valley of the Sun Cemetery, Chandler, Arizona.
