Robert "Bobby" Angel Hernandez Jr.

Bobby graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Arizona State University and was a devoted member of the Omega Delta Phi fraternity. He had a generous and faithful spirit, which he carried throughout his 28-year career in Aerospace at Honeywell.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia; his children, Santiago and Amiya; his mother, Marylou B. Hernandez; his sister, Christina "Tina" (Sergio) Barrera; his brother, Tony Hernandez; his nana, Lucy Lomeli; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bobby was predeceased by his father, Gus Hernandez, Tata Ramon Lomeli, Nana Mary and Tata Angel (Beanses) Hernandez.

Bobby was a huge supporter of the Chicago Bears and was passionate about camping, playing cornhole, cooking, coaching, dancing, and activities that brought joy to his life and those around him. He will be remembered as a generous, faithful, and cherished individual who touched the lives of many.

Services for Bobby will be held on Friday, November 7 starting with his viewing from 10:30 to 11:00 AM and Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church: 230 W Galveston St. Chandler, Arizona 85224. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held immediately after at the Chandler Elks Lodge #2429 B.P.O.E.: 1775 W Chandler Blvd. Chandler, Arizona 85224.

Flowers may be sent to Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery: 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd. Chandler, Arizona 85248 with requested delivery on Thursday, November 6 or before.
