Rose,
 A warm welcoming soul that blessed all who knew her. A mother and grandmother prototype. 
 She had lived her life equally dividing her time among the whole family fairly because everyone    wanted her around!....(sacrifice)
 She had a way of getting to the point, knowing herself that life was too short and precious to waste it on a trivial matter.(wisdom) Love & family matter most.(Love) The sweater story stuck with me. (Forgiveness)
 Making chicken soup and rolling polish Horn cookies with her seemed like a live casting for the "Leave it to Beaver show". I didn’t know families like that existed. 

 Thank you for the memories and the warm 
heart felt hugs. You will always
be missed.


Rosie

I love the way you cuddled me, I loved the way you cared;
I loved how you believed in me, when I was in despair.

You saw the woman inside me, who could be strong and wise;
You always had the words to say, you gave the best advice.

I will miss the way you laughed; I will miss your warm hugs
I will miss you cooking for me, I will miss your love.

You were more than just a grandma; you were like a second mom;
You helped raise me from a little girl, I still can’t believe your gone.

I don’t think I’ll ever heal; this pain is more than I can take;
But if you were here you’d tell me, that I would be okay.

You were the strongest woman I knew, you survived so much in your life;
Wars, loss, heartache, yet you were always full of life.

You never let things get you down; you always saw the brighter side;
You were a grandma to all, a mother, a friend, a wife.

I know you are in heaven, with our Lord and Grandpa too;
I have to say, I’m a little jealous; because heaven will now have the best home cooked food.

I want you to know that I love you so much, and I miss you every day; 
I wish I could hold your hands just one last time, and feel your warm embrace.

I know I will see you again, but until that day; 
I want you to know you were the best grandma I could have; and I will cherish your love and memory in every way.


Happy memories to be remembered. What a very special, wonderful person you are Rose. You are a beautiful woman and such a blessing. You were so sweet, had a big heart, happiness, smiles that glow, laughter will echo long after sparkles. You were a giver, believer, helper, kind, faithful and loved everyone. You will be cherished. To love is to remember...and our hearts remember you!

Rose, you were a wonderful, sweet special lady. I’m blessed to have known you. You will be deeply missed but I know those we love never go away, you walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. You will be cherished. Gone but not forgotten, your memory became a treasure. 

I have so many fond memories of aunt Rosie. Visiting her and my cousins in West Chicago was a real treat. She was always baking or cooking and going all day. She was such a loving person and just great to be around. Kathy and I would love it when she stayed with us in Chicago after my mom ( her sister) was stricken with alzheimers. My mom would go back in time thinking her little sister had come home to stay with her. They were so cute together. She was like a second mom to me and loved my wife Kathy. Visiting her in Arizona was something Kathy and I would look forward to every year. She was an inspiration to us all. We are going to miss you greatly, but God is welcoming a special person to his house.

On June 13, 1928 Rose Mary Marasco was born,
Cicero was the start -in Arizona we now must mourn.

Into this world she brought such joy,
4 sweet girls and a handsome boy.

Her sweetheart Rich left us years ago,
In heaven again their love will grow.

We'll miss that laugh that changed our mood
But most of all we'll miss her food!

For those that met that Rosey gal, your luckier than most;
And on that note, I raise my glass to Rose Mary - I do TOAST!
