Roy Clifford Gastuch , 92, of Chandler, AZ, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2010. Roy was born on July 26, 1918 in Minneapolis, MN to Elmer Gastuch and Borghild Olsen. On May 28, 1944, Roy married Marie Caroline Roehrdanz in Farmingdale, New York. Roy is survived by his sister Lorraine Svendsen, brother-in-law George Roehrdanz, children Robin “Rob” Gastuch, Nicolas “Nick” (Nilda) Gastuch, George Gastuch, Nancy (Robert) Dannewitz, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Roy was preceded in death by his loving wife Marie, brother Marcel August Gastuch, sons Gerald “Gerry” Clifford Gastuch and Frederic “Fred” Gene Gastuch. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday September 22, 2010 at 1pm at Valley of the Sun Mortuary 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ.
