Ruben Lara Gonzales passed on November, 7 2013. Ruben was born in Croco (Douglas), Arizona to Concepcion and Josephine Gonzales. Survived by wife Antonia Gonzales. Children: Patty and spouse John, Ruben, Sandy, Priscilla and spouse Alex. Grandchildren: Tiffany, Melissa, Brittany, Jacob, Adrian, Cassandra, Amber, Justin, Alexi, Michelle, Drew. Great Grandchildren: Abigail and Alex.
Ruben was loved by many throughout his life he was generous and giving, always put everyone before himself. He was a member of several Veteran Organizations. Although he struggled with his medical conditions, he always found a way to make light of things. Wether it was a phone call with a silly joke or a call to see how family and friends were doing. Despite all that he went through he was a man that never stopped giving up, and his positive outlook in life inspired others. He was proud to be an American, served in the Army and reached the rank of a Staff Sargent. He also served 2 tours in Vietnam.
Although Ruben Gonzales will be missed we will all remember him for his positive attitude, his strength, loving heart, generosity, silly jokes, and dancing. We will cherish the moments and hold you close to our hearts, we love you and you will never be forgotten.
