He was born June 11, 1929, in Peabody, MA, to Joseph and Mary Luz. Rudy married Dorothy M. Aylward in 1951 and will now share eternal life together. They lived in Peabody, MA, before relocating to AZ in 1991.
Rudy mastered the art of carpentry and home building through his father’s family construction company. Through his passion for construction, Rudy owned Luz Builders. He later worked for the Housing Re-development Authority for the State of Massachusetts as well as the State of Arizona before retiring in 1997.
After retirement, Rudy loved spending time with his family and many friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, traveling, mountain biking, skydiving and participating in motorcycle runs & benefits.
