Steven Mossios, 46, passed away on August 23, 2026.
Steven was born on September 28, 1979, in Denville, New Jersey. He earned his GED and went on to work as a warehouse supervisor.
Steven had a lifelong love of music, especially heavy metal, and was a talented guitar player. Music was a huge part of who he was. He played guitar with the bands Corporate Assault and Detox, sharing his passion for music with those around him.
Steven will be remembered for his unique personality, his love of guitar and heavy music, and the memories he created with his family and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Autumn Marie Guiles Mossios.
He is survived by Melanie Grace McLeod, Donna Jean Politi, Rick Politi, Anthony Politi, Christopher Politi, along with his cousins, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
A memorial service honoring Steven’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248.
A cemetery service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
Kyle Shumway will officiate the services.
Steven’s memory will live on through his family, his friends, his music, and every guitar riff that reminds us of him.
