Thelma Rosetta Simmons 82 of Apache Junction, AZ. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 28, 2012. Born in Taloga, OK. to Claud and Mary Nelson. Thelma was a proud homemaker to her large family of 8 children and her adoring husband Andrew. She is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years Andrew and daughters, Sandra Smith, Linda Rainwater, Anne Kittler, and Cherry Wadly and a son, Andrew Simmons. Thelma is also survived by 19 grandchildren as well she is a great grandmother and a great great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as Son, John Simmons and Daughters, Ruby Simmons, Brenda Kagebein and 3 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held, Monday, May 7, 2012 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Mariposa Gardens located at 400 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ. 85026 with Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m., and a Graveside Service to be conducted at Valley of the Sun Cemetery located at 10940 E.
