Born in Glendale, California, Tommy was the son of Steve and Eva Rudas. From the beginning, his life reflected a steady devotion to those he loved and a willingness to meet each day with purpose.
For more than 20 years, Tommy built a respected career in the HVAC industry, most recently with Semper Fi Heating and Cooling in the Phoenix metro area. Through consistent work and commitment, he earned the trust of those who relied on him and demonstrated what it means to be truly hard-working.
Tommy and Kelly shared 20 years together and were married on March 2, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Kelly; son, Christopher (Brittney); daughter, Caitlyn; sons, Jacob and Joey; grandchildren: Addy, Averie, Christopher, Theo, and Rowen; mother, Eva; and brother, Steve (Tina).
Tommy was preceded in passing by his father, Steve, and his brother, Johnny.
A man who loved the outdoors, Tommy found joy in the open air and wide horizons—riding his Can-Am in the desert, snowboarding, golfing, camping, and boating. If there was a fire going, he was always feeding it with a Corona in hand. At gatherings, his boisterous laugh could be heard from anywhere—unmistakable, infectious, and warmly familiar to all who knew him. A kid at heart, he loved animals, welcomed people easily, and carried a spirit of adventure that made others feel at ease in his presence.
Above all else, Tommy was a Papa. He adored his grandkids beyond measure and held his family at the center of his life. A driving force behind those he loved, he leaves a legacy of steadfast devotion, open-hearted connection, and a life fully lived—one that will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection.
A Visitation and Viewing for Tommy will occur at 10:00 am, followed by his Celebration of Life at 11:00 am, with both services on Sunday, September 27, at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery: 10940 E Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248.
