

Gammage, Uva 98 of Mesa, Arizona passed away on May 10, 2015. She was born in Sickles, Oklahoma on April 1, 1917. Uva was a long time resident of Coolidge, Arizona where she and her husband, Tom Gammage, established a Phillips 66 distributing company. Uva taught elementary school in Coolidge for 30 years. She is survived by her daughters Gail Gammage Gilb of Peoria, Peggy Pate (John Pate) of Mesa, four grandchildren Jennifer Gilb of Peoria, Brendan Gilb (Christine Gilb) of Tempe, Scott Pate (Jessica Pate) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Mark Pate of Dallas, Texas and one great grandson Luke Pate of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10904 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Arizona Baptist Children’s Services (http://www.abcs.org) which was an organization that Uva loved and supported for many years and where she served as a board member.
