Veda Lorene Reese

Veda was 88 years old. She was born in Gibbon, NE on June 7, 1935 to Alfred George Gillming (father) and Irma Irene Sprague (mother.) She graduated from Kearney Senior High and married Ivan Richard Reese on January 9, 1955. They had two sons (Jeffrey Ernest Reese and Craig Alfred Reese.) Veda and her husband resided in Denver, CO until they retired and moved to Chandler, AZ in 1998. Veda's husband passed away in February of 2006 and she continued to live in the Springfield area of Chandler another 18 years. Veda loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She really loved her friends and family as well as golf. She moved to Brookdale Central Chandler in February of 2023. She was a member of Risen Savior Lutheran Church and loved singing in the choir. She will really be missed and is survived by her two sons (Jeff and Craig) and Craig's family (wife - Ann) and their two sons (Nathan and Derek) and their wives (Nathan/Stephanie) and (Derek/Amanda) and a great grandson - Spencer Reese. She really loved the Springfield area and all her friends that she met over the years. She and her husband will be laid to rest at the Ft Logan National cemetery in Denver CO.
