
Verdyne J. Lindell of Chandler, AZ. passed away, August 31, 2012. A friend wrote on the day of her passing-“Once in a blue moon someone comes along who touches our lives and our hearts and Verdyne did that, she had a gift.” Verdyne was born February 4, 1933 to Charles and Lucille Krause in Breckenridge, Minnesota. Verdyne spent her life in the states of North Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado and Arizona. She married her husband and soul mate of 61 years, Harold R. Lindell. They were blessed with 4 children, Pamela (Ed) Goodman, Scott (Jill) Lindell, Gwen (Mark) Glaeser and Mark (Katrina) Lindell. Verdyne is survived by her husband, Harold, her 4 children, her 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister-in-law, Gleva Krause, 4 nephews and cousins. Her parents and 1 brother Charles preceded her in death. Verdyne lived by this saying written by Helen Keller – “It is not what we see and touch or that what others do for us which makes us happy; it is that which we think and feel and do first for the other fellow and then ourselves. A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2012 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 739 W. Erie St., Chandler, AZ.
