I only met Walter once, at Aaron's Wedding in San Francisco, but he was so friendly that by the end of dinner felt like he was already part of the family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My sincerest thanks to all who have written and sent cards and phone calls.  I miss my Walter so much and read and re-read all the entries, hungry to read what his old friends say about him, and so appreciative to know how well loved he is, was and will always be.  Until we can be together again my heart lightens when I read about his attributes and share memories of good times and loving days. I wrote a poem to Walter and will try to add it to this guest book when I find out where it should go. Sadly  missed and loved.

i've known Walter for many, many years, from working in the print shop to his dedicated years as a firefighter. He was a most sincered person. He would help anybody out as much as he could. we had many laughs together, he will be dearly missed, Ex Chief Donald Tortoso

What a blessing it was to have known Walter,our neighbor and dear friend, even though it was only for a short time. He had a loving smile and a very sweet spirit. We are grateful that we touched each other's lives. We will miss him dearly.

Dear Walter, It's been a fantastic pleasure in my life to see how happy you made Gramma Gloria, and how happy it made my mom to see her mom so happy! You are dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all of us.

Good bye our friend Walter, RIP, you were a role model for us all in how to live life and not to let the "bumps" slow you down. 
You were a terrific soul mate for our mother and for that we feel blessed! 
We miss you now & will see you on another field of play in the future.

Walter was our very dear friend.  He always greeted us with a warm, loving smile and his sparkling blue eyes.  He was a joy to know.  On Sundays we will always remember and honor Walter because that was when he and his beautiful wife, Gloria, made us a part of their special life together.  

Thank you Walter for loving us and letting us love you.

You are already so missed, Dear Walter. You brought so much joy and peace to our Mom, we will always be grateful. May your spirit soar as you are freed of your body and know that you have made your contribution to this world with Love.

R.I.P.  Walter was one of the kindest men you'll ever meet. He was loved by many and gave love freely.  We will miss him very much. Thank you Walter, for loving my Mom and us. We were all blessed to know you.  Heaven just got another angel!!
