I had the privilege of knowing Warren for almost 30 years. He was the consummate professional, both at work and with his love for the game of soccer. My children loved having Warren ref their soccer matches. He was tough, BUT fair. They knew that Warren would always give them his best game and let the match be decided on the field. I always enjoyed talking with Warren after the matches, at work and where ever else about soccer, Penn State and life in general. The world be a lesser place without him. I know you have your uniform on already and you’re getting ready to ref that next match! RIP my friend, I will never forget you!

Warren,
We will always miss you. You brought joy to life with a smile and a chuckle. I was privileged to know you, call you my friend and think of you as a brother.

I might even have to root for Penn State this weekend.

I have worked with Warren at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating station in Tonopah, AZ. One of the most gentle men I have ever met and we both had a common love of the world of soccer. I used to enjoy watching him referee high school games, including some at my children's. He was always professional when making calls, which were obviously disliked from one side or the other, but he conducted himself with fairness always. May you Rest In Peace my friend Warren.

I had the privelege of knowing Warren through several long term work projects. Every day regardless of whatever else was going on, he was a pleasure to spend time with. I would have to say, my day was notably better every time we chatted!
I am very sad to learn of his passing. The world is a bit smaller without him.
RIP Warren.

Thank you for opening my eyes to a whole new world of opportunities not only as a referee but as a person. You were always there for me as I grew over the years and you became a staple I could rely on. I will never forget your presence and the smile you could bring to my face. Thank you Warren for all that you have done for me and Rest In Peace.
