Chandler, AZ.
He was born on April 9th, 1951 in Hibbing, MN, graduating in 1969 from Mentor High School in
Mentor, OH. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a
loadmaster on a C-130 during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, and being stationed
at McChord Air Force Base in Seattle, WA, he began a lifelong career in the insurance industry.
He was the owner and president of Fortune Management Inc. as well as a proud founding board
member of The Bank of Washington.
Bill loved all things Seahawks football and spent every Sunday cheering on the Hawks. Whether
he was in Seattle watching with his kids and grandkids or enjoying a Blue Moon after a round of
golf at Tucson National with his wife Margo. He was so excited when they finally brought home
the Lombardi by winning Super Bowl XLVII in 2013. Since retiring he really enjoyed traveling,
especially cruising and a good warm beach vacation, or sipping a Johnny Walker Black with his
friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margo, of 28 years, daughter Jaime Paratore (Joaquin), son
BJ Sanden (Kristy), and two adorable granddaughters Brooklyn and Kaylee.
He also leaves behind brothers Jon “Jack” Sanden (Sue) of Idaho and James Sanden (Sally
Gerboth) of Ohio and was an amazing “Uncle Billy”. He was preceded in death by his father
Robert.
Due to the current climate, there will be no memorial services at this time. In lieu of flowers,
please consider a donation to Hospice of the Valley (hov.org) in his name.
