William ( Bill ) D, Toby, 91, of Sun Lakes, Peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma, in 1934. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona, when he was 9 years old. He attended West Phoenix High School. He worked in a dairy till he enlisted in the Army in 1952-55. He served 3 years and received an Honorable discharge. He started working for Western States Insulators and Allied Workers. He retired after 36 years. William married his wife of 52 years, Lottie Bentley. During that time, he became a Licensed Minister with the Assembly of God Organization. They pastored two churches in Arizona. He then retired to Sun lakes Az. He remarried in 2012 to Patti Totten. He loved gold panning and arrowhead hunting. He loved hunting, fishing. He loved to tell jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
Surviving family members are his wife, Patti Toby, and daughters, Deanna ( Ken ) Dutton, Deborah ( David ) Rice, Donna ( Peter ) Lee, Darleen ( Brad ) Meduna, and a sister, Sherleen Baisley.
He has 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
