Winston Lloyd Wilson, 85, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on June 25, 2026. While his family grieves his earthly passing, they rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and find comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his beloved wife, Constance "Connie" Jordan Wilson, whom he dearly missed every day since her passing.
Born on September 5, 1940, in St. Catherine, Jamaica, Winston lived a life marked by perseverance, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. He spent much of his life in Huntsville, Alabama, before moving to Arizona by way of Vietnam to live with his son, Ace, following Connie's passing. Though life brought him across continents, his greatest joy was always found in the people he loved.
Winston earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and enjoyed a long career as an engineer. He approached both his profession and his personal life with integrity, discipline, and a commitment to excellence. He believed in working hard, keeping his word, and providing generously for those he loved.
Above all else, Winston cherished his family. His greatest earthly blessing was his marriage to Constance "Connie" Jordan Wilson. For 29 wonderful years, they built a life together rooted in love, faithfulness, and mutual devotion. Connie was his constant companion, greatest supporter, and closest friend. Together they created a home filled with love and welcomed family with open hearts. Their enduring love remains an inspiration to all who knew them.
Winston also found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved playing tennis and soccer, enjoyed following horse racing, and expressed his creativity through jewelry making. Whether crafting a beautiful piece of jewelry or cheering on a favorite horse, he appreciated both precision and beauty, reflecting the thoughtful nature that defined his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Constance Jordan Wilson; his cherished grandchild, Lashante Wilson; his parents, Albert James Wilson and Charlotte Florence Clifford Wilson; his sister, Mabel Colleen Branch-Wilson; and his brother, Carroll Altiman Wilson ("Raggie").
Winston leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his daughter, Heather Wilson; his sons, Michael Andrew Wilson, Wilbur Ace Wilson (Jennifer Wilson), and Michael B. Jordan (Jacinta Howard); his grandchildren, Daniel Wilson Baimbridge, Sienna Sky Jordan, Ezekiel Ace Wilson, Malcolm Ace Wilson, Jeff Andrew Wilson, Michael Wilson, Ariel Wilson, Natalia Wilson-Cole, Akeem Wilson, Kemani Wilson, Markie Wilson, Leanne Wilson, Shania Wilson, Demiego Wilson, Kai-Shiloh Wilson, and Arianna Wilson; and his great-grandchildren, Andrew, Adriel, Zola-Renee, Marquis, and Malique.
He is also survived by his sisters, Enid Veronica Wilson, Delrose Hyacinth Davidson-Wilson, Carol Avril Wilson, and Dorothy Elaine Avula-Wilson; and his brothers, Delroy James Wilson, Evon Hopeton Wilson, and Donovan Emerson Wilson, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss his steady presence and gentle spirit.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Winston's life and the hope we have in Christ.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248.
