Yvonne Dianne Govea

She was born in Sacramento, CA on December 6, 1948 to Beverly Arlene Steyart and Fred West, Jr.

Yvonne is survived by her husband Jim, granddaughter Noelle, Noelle’s Husband Dalton, (3) great-granddaughters Sawyer, Payson and Billie, her best friend Sandy Rhoads, her grandson Tommy, her daughter Carrie, and Carrie’s husband Rick.

Her pugs were one of the biggest joys of her life: Gracie, Molly and Mercedes.

Yvonne and Jim were happily married for 33 years.

She loved filling the backyard with Trees, Plants, Water Features, Flowers and Hummingbird feeders. It sometimes felt like a wildlife park with different birds, butterflies and dragonflies all over. She had (4) Hummingbird feeders and enjoyed watching the Hummingbirds fly around.

She loved swimming in the pool exercising and watching her reality shows.

She loved searching for and giving dresses and outfits for her great grandchildren.

She loved Christmas and would decorate the whole house into a Christmas wonderland. Her main focus was a 9FT tree with the biggest decorations and collectibles.

She was a pure joy to be around.

Her motto was Just live your life! And she did that with all her spirit!

She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her joy and laughter.
