My condolences and prayers to Kerry , Daniel , Sara and Family . Pastor Vance was at NPBC when I attended . He certainly put his heart and soul into that Church and i'm sure he did everywhere he went . He and his Family did so much for me , thank you . I remember the 1st time I went to the Church he came right over and welcomed me . He Baptized me and did my Father's service like he knew him . He wore MANY hats at that Church . I grew up in North Plainfield , just a few blocks away . I miss that little tight knit Church . That was quite a day when Jesus welcomed him to Heaven , I can see Pastor's smile from here . He was a great human being and Servant of the Lord . I am grateful to have met he and his Family , love you Sir .

I remember Allan well from his interaction in the PhD in Leadership program at Lancaster Bible College. He was the doctoral graduate assistant when I first began the role in 2017. He had a deep passion for the program and his fellow students. I can truly say that Allan was first and foremost a pastor. He loved people. He was a natural encourager. He also had a very curious mind. He would always want to chat about different threads of research he was exploring as he was working on his dissertation. I finally had to say to him, "Allan, we need to finish it." He would say, "I know. But there is just so much to study." He did finish and went on to invest in doctoral education as a reader. Allan was a rich blessing to me over the years. He will be missed.

Allan and I started at the Maryland Department Of Transportation Data Center within 2 weeks of each other in the spring of 1981. He worked in the tape library and I worked in the computer room, both of us on the 4-12 shift. He was a good man. We had many spirited conversations over the several years we worked together, and I will always remember him fondly. My condolence's to his family. I know he is missed and the pain of losing him is great. Wishing all of you peace and comfort. Rest In Peace, Allan!

I am very sorry to hear about this loss. I know his love for his grandchildren and his family. I will miss seeing him around the field at practices and games. My prayers are with you during this time. He will be missed by the Chapin Soccer Family.

Kerry and Family - Heartbroken over losing Allan, but know he is with our Savior. Will miss his thoughtful responses to Bible questions, visiting others with an encouraging word and presence and bragging on his family! Love Jeff & Elizabeth

We never know how much time we have left. Somehow we always think there will be another day. We are sad to see Allan leave so soon. Kerry we feel your loss and suffer with you. We hold you and your family in our prayers. There is now a large void in our family that will never be filled.
May God's Eternal Peace be with you now and forever.
Love,
Eric and Diane

Allan was/is my dear friend, closer than a brother. I wish the Lord would have allowed Allan to stay on Earth for many more years. But, the Lord reminds me, "I had to get him to Heaven somehow."
I'm very sure that Allan is both amazed and happy in Heaven. And when I arrive in Heaven, Allan is going to point out a few things and say to me, "See, Neal, I told you that I was right, and now we both see that I was right!"
I love you, my dear friend. See ya' soon!
Rev. Dr. Neal Gray
