Annie Ruth B. Farr, 96, of Little Mountain, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Born on December 15, 1929, in Chapin, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Julius P. and Lula Meetze Bickley.
Annie Ruth will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was rooted in family, love, and the community she called home. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue through the many generations of family who loved her and will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lang Euston Farr Jr.; her daughter, Brenda F. Wicker; her sisters, Earline Martin Boland, Adell Stockman, Rozelle Hook, and Nezzie Lee Bickley; and her brother, Herbert Bickley.
Annie Ruth is survived by her children, Gerald Wayne Farr (Libby) of Newberry, Jeanie Anderson (Junior) of Little Mountain, and Cynthia Farr-Stockman of Little Mountain. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Valerie Farr Warrington (Larry), Gerald Farr, Clint Wicker, Wade Wicker, Adam Anderson (Ashley), Melanie Anderson (Alex), and Vickie Stockman, along with many great-grandchildren who brought joy and love to her life.
A graveside service celebrating Annie Ruth's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Little Mountain. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
