LITTLE MOUNTAIN – A memorial service for Arnold Paul Wendell, 62, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Way South Carolina, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Columbia, SC 29204.
Mr. Wendell was born January 20, 1950 in Amherstdale, WV and passed away in West Columbia, SC on Monday, January 30, 2012.
Mr. Wendell is survived by his wife, Cathy Wendell; mother, Ada Jude Wendell of West Virginia; sister, Linda Wendell Heatherman of Charleston, WV; cousin, William West of Oak Hill, OH; aunt, Myrtle Wendell Daugherty of Oak Hill, OH; daughter, Rebecca Caldwell of Irmo; adopted family, Jesse, Amber, Sydney and Kierra Asmus. He was loved and will be missed by many family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Arnold Paul Wendell and son, William Matthew Wendell.
