Mrs. Bailey graduated from Barnwell High School and then from Limestone College, where she was student body president. She taught school in various towns throughout South Carolina. She was very active in St. Andrews Baptist Church and, upon moving to Aiken, she was active at Aiken’s First Baptist Church. Mrs. Bailey was a wonderful wife and mother who spent her life caring for others.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughter, Barbra Hunter (Michael) of Chapin; grandchildren, Parker Davis, Logan Bailey, Lawson Davis, Harrison Davis, Eason Davis, John David Hunter, Blake Hunter, Bayly Hunter, Ellis Hunter, Lillie Hunter and Cate Hunter; brother, Harrie Bronson of Omaha, NE and daughter-in-law, Deanna Vaughn Bailey. She is also survived by her nephew, Matthew (Liz) Bronson; niece, Melissa Bronson and great nephew, Teddy Bronson of Omaha, NE.
Mrs. Bailey was predeceased by her husband, Robert Logan Bailey and son, Robert Logan Bailey, Jr.
Services will be Monday, April 4, 2022 at Aiken’s First Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Faith Explorers class.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Baptist Church or Aiken’s First Baptist Church.
