Chesnee came into this world nine years ago and immediately showed everyone what a fighter she was. She was known for her beautiful blue eyes, infectious laugh, and a smile that lit up any room. Her spunky personality especially came out when she saw the opportunity to grab hair, papers, glasses, or artwork off the walls at school. Her little giggle afterwards showed her mischievous side, which is how she got the nickname Ches Mess.
Chesnee enjoyed camping trips, going to Disney, boat, golf cart, bike rides, and all the other amazing adventures with Mommy, Daddy, Aniston, and Ellie. She loved to FaceTime G-paw and Gammy to see if G-paw or Ches was the winner of the best morning hair. She recently started saying “Nana” and waving when chatting to Nana and Grampster. Her most favorite thing though was going to school and being with her friends.
While our hearts are broken, we know that Chesnee is finally healed. We know that her Nanny and Mrs. Carla were waiting for her and they are all dancing and singing together!
Chesnee wants to invite all of her friends to a Celebration of Life party at The Ole Oak Barn in Little Mountain on Wednesday, May 31 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
Flowers or plants can be sent to the Hooks family through Lake Murray Flower Shoppe. Donations in Chesnee’s name can be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.caughmanchapin.com for the Hooks family.
