
CHAPIN – A funeral service for Drucilla L. Boland, 102, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church.
Mrs. Boland was born June 22, 1912 in Little Mountain, SC and passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015. She was the daughter of the late, A. Pearson Lindler and Katie Cannon Lindler.
Mrs. Boland was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church and retired from Lowman Home. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with family and her many friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Ramsey (Don); son, Kim Boland (Susan); sister, Esther Frick; brother, Herbert Lindler (Cathryn); sister-in-law Pearl Lindler; son-in-law Jim Johnston (Lynne);grandchildren, Janet Kibler (Mark), Mary Perry (Craig), Paula Frick (Marty), LaDona Shaver (Alvin), Drew Boland, Davis Jefferies, Jr. (Marie), Harold Jeffries, Jamie Johnston; 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Dewey F. Boland; daughters, Rosalyn Cumalander (Nick) and Linda Johnston; granddaughter, Flora Amick; sisters, Mabrie Metts, Naomi Counts, Annie Ruth Frick; brothers Louie V. Lindler, Clyde Lindler and Loy Lindler.
