Gary was not only a friend, but a confidant, as well. I worked with him at V C Summer, as so many others have. He made such an impression on so many people. He was always upbeat and had a smile and a funny anecdote for you. May you find eternal peace and happiness in heaven watching over your loved ones. Heaven gained another angel. Keep them smiling Gary!

Steve Smith and Glen Putt hired Gary to run the mechanics at vc Summer. He was my supervisor when I ran the work control center(champs). He was a bubble head like me Smith and Putt so a lot of sub stories were shared by all.
Gary and I worked many outages and also coach many kids soccer games. He was always a good guy to get things done with. I will miss him . Rest in peace.

I also worked for Gary at VCS. He was a wonderful supervisor, individual, and mentor. He helped me so much in the different positions I've worked under him. Even after he retired he would call to "check up on us" and was still willing to offer help and answer questions. My prayers are with you all.
Rest in peace Gary.

I recently retired from VC Summer after 43 years. Gary was a great guy to work with and a terrific friend. He always had a humorous story to share from his experiences. I enjoyed spending time with him at VC Summer. He had a servant heart and was always willing to help others. I will surely miss him. Prayer for his family!
