JL worked for R.L. Bryan Printing Company and retired after 40 years. He was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working in the yard. He also loved spending time with family and friends, but especially with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Long Lindler; son, Chris Lindler (Renee); grandchildren, Bethany, Caroline, and Lawson; sister, Elizabeth Summer; brother, Bryan Lindler (Mattie Jane); and sister-in-law, Ann Lindler.
He was predeceased by his son, Jeffery Lindler; his brother, Edward Lindler; and brother-in-law, Willie Summer.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 844 Columbia Ave, Chapin, SC 29036, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.
