It’s been almost three years without you now. I still love you so very much, and miss you even more! How are you doing in Heaven? Have you made any new friends? I know you definitely have knowing your charming personality and the person you are! But you promised to save the eternal best friend spot for me so you better make sure no one takes that spot! I love and miss you so much my love. Life is hard without you but I am powering through for the both of us. I was ready to spend the rest of my life with you, and although that cannot happen anymore, I know I will see you again one day. I am so glad that I met you and somehow you fell in love with me so that I could claim you as mine. The moment I saw you I knew I had to take you off the single market permanently! If I could go back in time with the knowledge of knowing what would happen, I would still choose you over and over again. You will always and forever be the love of my life. I love you MOST! (I win)

Ford I miss you bud you where one of the best friends I have ever had

I was at Fort Lee with Ford. He was an all around good guy and this photo he was actually standing firewatch for the barracks. He always knew how to make you laugh no matter how you were feeling before the conversation.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this out because Ford was such a great guy, and just writing that out doesn’t even begin to do him justice. In the short few months that I had the privilege of working with Ford and getting to know him, I quickly came to realize that he was by far the nicest guy I’ve ever met. He had a contagious smile and uplifting spirit, and possibly the most positive attitude in anyone I’ve ever met in my life. It didn’t matter who or what came across his path - by proxy of being around him, you couldn’t help but automatically feel better about whatever was getting you down. Ford had that special quality of being constantly upbeat and nothing in the world would drag him down, no matter the circumstance. 

To Ford’s family and loved ones - Justin was one of the greatest Marines I’ve ever known. He was a serious, driven, and dedicated young man and lighthearted and easygoing at the same time. Always polite, respectful, and caring, he was the embodiment of all desirable traits in a Marine. He took pride in his work and always carried it out diligently - of all the Marines I’ve worked with, I never once heard Ford complain, and in the Corps, that’s a miracle. He was a natural-born leader who cared deeply about his fellow Marines, always uplifting those around him, and the Marine Corps was truly a better place with him in their ranks. Ford was a true reflection of his values instilled by his family and friends, and they should be extremely proud of the man they raised and what he accomplished. There’s a saying that “People will forget the things that you say, but they’ll never forget the way you make them feel.” And when I think of him now, in my memory, he’s always smiling - ready to crack the next joke, always brightening your day. You could always count on him to be there.

Justin was an optimistic, hardworking, polite ,considerate, handsome young man. He was full of enthusiasm for life and had many beautiful plans for the future. Although we have known each other for less than two years, he had brought many happy memories to our family. These days, our family often feels how unrealistic of the fact that he left us, and hope it is just  a dream. But we all have to accept the fact that God has a good plan for him. The separation is short, and we will meet again in heaven in the future! 
May we turn the memory of Justin into a positive force in our life, cherishing  life and relatives and friends, and living a abundant life with God's guidance!

Justin was one of the most kind and respectful young men that I’ve ever met. It was always a delight having him in our presence with his positive energy and contagious smile. He walked through our front door to lend a helping hand with something, and he quickly became part of the family. He clicked well with us and our teenage son and was always trying to give him direction for his future. I always enjoyed listening to those conversations. 

There’s an emptiness in our family that can’t be replaced. Forever in our hearts you’ll be, Justin…even if right now they’re broken.  ♥️ Fly high!!

Justin was a great friend. It doesnt even seem real that he is gone. I went to Chapin high with him and we became close friends. I will always remember his smile, his confidence, and of course his walk. He was a goof if you got to know him though from appearance seemed as a strong grown man often times. I remember calling him not that long ago and talking about hanging out when he was finally able to one day. I will continue searching to find the photo of us being goofballs in the hall way during lunch time! But at least I found two photos of him in coach Stogners class senior year! I am so sorry for your loss as it may be difficult to bare I hope that knowing how much he was liked and loved as a friend helps with that pain. He was great! Justin was strong and mature and goofy and friendly and was like no one I have ever met. Much love! 

I somehow knew, the first time I laid eyes on Justin, that he would be my student.  Turns out, I was right. Justin was one of those people who comes along rarely in life. No matter what went on, he smiled and found the positivity in the situation.  When he had cancer in middle school, he lifted those around him with his quick wit and infectious smile. Justin, I was so proud to hear you had fought the odds and had become a Marine! To his family, may you feel the peace of God and cherish the many precious memories you no doubt have. Justin you will truly be missed. We have watched you grow into a wonderful man. I remember when you were just a baby sitting on my lap and falling asleep on me. My heart is just broken. Your life ended way to soon. We love you very much.

We some how ended together anywhere and thing we went or did. He’s one of my best friends. 

I was roommates with ford for the past few years. He was one of the best guys I knew. He always knew how to pick you up when you were down and always knew what to say. I will never forget any of the stories and memories we shared. I love you brother 

I was fords roommate for the past few years and he was the best guy I knew always seemed to have a way to bring your spirits up and make you smile. He will be loved and missed I will never forget the times we had and memories shared. 

Ford was a character for sure. He was a great person and Marine. He will be missed. It was way to soon for him. It was an honor to have served with him and to have known him. 


A great friend and a even better man.  He was one of the toughest little fella’s you ever met. We played many games and tricks on each other always seeming to result in a little pain and lots of heat felt laughter. I will miss him. It seems as if it always unfortunately happens to the best of them.

There are too many memories to share in such a short time. Justin will always be in my mind. I miss you brother.

Justin Lee Ford. He was one of my best friends. A stranger at first, then a brother. He left many significant impacts on my life and not a day will go by where I don’t remember his name or see his face. I miss you, now more than ever Ford.
