Lorene H. Stoudemire

CHAPIN – Funeral services for Lorene Huffstetler Stoudemire, 94, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Pineywood, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC 29036 with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Capital Improvement Fund.

Mrs. Stoudemire was born April 9, 1917 in Chapin, SC and passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Adgy L. Huffstetler and Estelle Mayer Huffstetler.

Mrs. Stoudemire is survived by her children, Wayne (Evelyn) Stoudemire, Jim Stoudemire and Debbie (Marc) Danque; grandchildren, Carol (Gibson) Solomons, Dale (Wendy) Stoudemire, Daran (Michelle) Stoudemire, Amy (Allen) Griffith, Stacy (Sylvan) Branton and Kim Mackey; great-grandchildren, Karen and Allen Solomons, Kelly, Sarah and Nathan Stoudemire, Dylan and Caitlyn Stoudemire, Heather Oswald, Loren Mackey, Sydney and Jacob Griffith, Amber, Elyena and Scott Branton, great-great- grandchildren and sister, Vera Puckett. She is predeceased by her sister, Gertie Lake and brothers, K.C., Carroll, Alvin, Robert, Gerald and Milford.
