Lou Ella Thompson

WHITE ROCK – Funeral services for Lou Ella Sites Thompson, 90, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Bethel Lutheran Church in White Rock with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bethel Older Sunday School Class and White Rock Friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, P.O. Mrs. Thompson was born July 1, 1921 in Hemingway, SC and passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011. She was a daughter of the late James L. Sites and Anna Richardson Sites. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, the Bethel Older Sunday School Class and White Rock Friends. She enjoyed growing flowers and loved to cook. She was the matriarch of her family and loved her church.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Wade Thompson and grandson, Andrew “Drew” Thompson both of White Rock. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore “Ted” W. Thompson; sister, Bonnie Graham Kyzer and brothers, Earl Sites, Willard Sites and Ray Sites.
