
Miller was a telecommunications technician at AT&T where he retired from about 30 years ago.
He also worked with Two Way Radio of SC after retiring.
Miller graduated from Dreher High School in 1959. After graduating, he joined the Marines and spent a few years in the Marine Corps Reserve.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol Rogers Lindler; daughter, Annette Browder (Steve) and his son, Joey Lindler (Avis). He is also survived by a brother, Daily “Jack” O. Lindler (Pat). Also, three grandsons, Jonathan Weed, J.J. and Joshua Lindler and a great-granddaughter, Addison Weed.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Miller loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved crappie fishing and deer, turkey and rabbit hunting up until recently. He also had a love for gardening where he had a green thumb. He spent many hours planting seeds in starter cups and working in the garden. He loved his tomatoes, peppers, corn, cucumbers, and okra in particular.
He also enjoyed coaching little league baseball many years ago. He also loved to watch and cheer for the Gamecocks.
He enjoyed spending time with his family having cookouts and fish fries.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at Mount Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery in Chapin on Wednesday, March 15 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive guests at the cemetery immediately following the service.
