IRMO - Sara Ellen Ellisor Shealy, 70, died Sunday, April 9, 2017. Born March 6, 1947 in Lexington, SC, she was the daughter of the late, Frank Owens and Reba Dailey Ellisor. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Irmo.
After graduating Irmo High School, Sara attended Palmer College. She was retired from Equitable Insurance.
Sara is survived by her husband, Jerry Shealy of Irmo; daughter, Susan O’Cain (Van) of Chapin; grandsons, Chance and Miles O’Cain and sister, Audrey Sease (Tommy) of Newberry.
Funeral services for Sara will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
