Sharon W. Mincey

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon W. Mincey of Chapin, South Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon W. Mincey to pay them a last tribute.

Sharon was married to her husband Michael S. Mincey (Chapin) for 18 years. She is predeceased in death by her parents Janice Jordan Wise (Conway) and her father Ralph E. Wise (Aynor). Sharon worked at Founders Federal Credit Union in Lexington. She adored and was adored by her puppies “Rowdy” and “Dobie” and a cat “ Callie” who were all rescue animals. Sharon loved reading, cooking for family, the lake, working in her yard with her husband, and taking trips with family.

In addition to her husband Michael, Sharon leaves behind mother-in-law Irene M. Vance (Chester), two sister-in-laws Kelly M. Bagley (Lex) of Chester, Charlotte M. Shannon (Adam) also of Chester, three nephews Landon A. Bagley of Lake Wateree, Cole G. Bagley (fiancée Grace Wilder) of Greenville, Ashton J. Shannon (Noell) of Alburn, AL., and one niece Carlee E. Shannon (fiancée Gavin Herr) of Spartanburg.

A celebration of life will be held for Sharon at a later date.
