
CHAPIN – Funeral services for Thelma Lindler Sites, 98, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel.
Mrs. Sites was born July 11, 1914, in Chapin, S.C. and passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Willie E. Lindler and Lillie M. Lindler. Mrs. Sites was an avid gardener, loved to read her bible each and every day, and loved to open her home and heart to those in need of love and caring. She retired from Stone Manufacturing after 30 years. Mrs. Sites loved to donate her crops, cook, and offered nourishment to all those who visited.
Mrs. Sites is survived by her loving son and his wife, Franklin “Gene” and Karen Sites; daughter, Nikki and her husband, Wayne Quattlebaum; granddaughters Jamie and Joshua Tetreault and Laura and Hewie Disher; grandchildren, Dwayne and Ka'ren Sarvis, Donnie and Tracy Sarvis, Todd and Laura Quattlebaum; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jonathan Tetreault, Jordyn, Madison and Skylar Disher, Chassity Sarvis, Chelsea and Chad Sarvis and Dakota Quattlebaum.
Mrs. Sites was predeceased by her husband, Frank Sites, her son, Jimmy Sites and her daughter, Laura Stevens.
