CHAPIN – Funeral Services for Velma Hill Rowe, 79 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel.
Mrs. Rowe was born July 8, 1934 in Laurens, SC and passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Lee Jackson Hill and Susie Cagle Hill. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Betty Rowe and Sherry Dominick (Melvin); sons, Marshall Rowe (Debra) and Robert Rowe (Lisa); 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
