Virginia was a member of the St. Mary’s Hospital Alumni Association in Brooklyn, New York as well as Dorcas Circle at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church in Chapin, SC.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Hatfield; sister, Katherine E. Joyce and brother-in-law, Danny Joyce. She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Mark Hatfield (wife Pam), Cathy Akin, Michael Gilmurray (wife Jenny) and Eric Joyce (wife Molly); family friends, Wayne and Tonya Landrith and son, James.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church cemetery in Chapin.
