Virginia Meetze Peeples, age 60, of Newberry, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina on February 22nd, 1963 to the late Marguerite Moore and Joseph David Meetze, Jr.
Virginia was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church in Chapin, SC. She worked in insurance as an underwriter. She loved being on the water and spending time in nature. Her most recent job was working at Generations with the elderly.
She is survived by her son, A.J. Peeples (Nicki) of Chapin; daughter, Kristin Sebree (Josh) of Easley; sisters, Caroline Anderson of Hephzibah, GA and Doris Gibbs (Glenn) of Black Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Isabelle Peeples, Copeland Peeples, and Alex Sebree, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held for Virginia at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 at St. Jacobs Lutheran Church, 844 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036, with a visitation to take place one hour prior in the church fellowship hall. A burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
