Wiley W. (Woody) Trexler, Jr. of Chapin, SC died peacefully at Heritage at Lowman on June 11, 2025. He was retired from the Lexington County Aging and Recreation Commission. He was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church in Chapin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Margaret Haltiwanger Trexler and granddaughter, Alexandra Marie Powell.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sheryl Slice Trexler; daughter, Jane Lynn Powell (Jeffery); grandsons, Tyler Powell (Ashley) and Austin Powell (Rachel); granddaughters, Ashlynn Powell and Sarah-Grace Powell; great-grandson, Oliver Powell; great-granddaughter, Adelaide Powell; and brother, Adrian Trexler.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, June 16 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Chapin Chapel (123 Columbia Ave. Chapin, SC). A public graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 17 at Mt. Horeb Cemetery (251 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC).
Please dress casual for the graveside service.
