Constance "Connie" Joy Farris, of Charleston, passed on May 16, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital of a sudden illness. She was predeceased by her parents, son Donald Shaffer, and husband George D. Farris Sr. Connie graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Charleston. Connie is survived by three children: George Farris Jr. of Concord, NC, Ronald Shaffer, and Harold Shaffer. Service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home with a following visitation from 5-7 p.m.
