Richard Lee Hart

Richard Lee Hart, 70, of Charleston, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at CAMC General Hospital. He was born March 11, 1945, in Logan to the late Sanford and Icie Queen Hart. Richard was a graduate of Richwood High School, West Virginia Tech and received his Masters from WVCOGS. He was retired from the Kanawha County Board of Education. He was a member of Valley Grove Church of the Nazarene and was an avid golfer. Richard dearly loved his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Betsy Elizabeth Hart; daughters, Jennifer (Flip) Marsh and Jill (Jack) Coulter, all of Hurricane; grandchildren, Regan, Quarrier, Lanie, Tres, Riley and Harris. A celebration of life will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston, with Berry Cantrell as the speaker. Family and friends will gather for the visitation from 2:00 p.m. until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
