Aeryn Kira Sutherland

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beautiful daughter, Aeryn Kira Sutherland, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend who died on October 17th, 2026. Aeryn and her boyfriend Gabe Williams were taken from us way too soon by a drunk driver.

Aeryn was a breath of fresh air to everyone she met. She was always happy and outgoing, and never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone who needed her. She cherished her friends and made them members of our family and loved everyone unconditionally. She loved the outdoors, gardening, swimming, being outdoors at night, watching TV with a campfire by the pool, and music and singing She also cherished her nieces and nephews and absolutely loved children and considered her friends’ children her nieces and nephews also. She was known to all children as Aunt Aeryn. But mostly she was dedicated to spending the rest of her life with her boyfriend, Gabe Williams, who was the love of her life, and being part of the Williams family who accepted and loved her unconditionally. And always insisted on taking care of her Dad and Mom when we got old.

Aeryn left behind her parents, Alex and Angie Sutherland, her grandmother, Jerri Sutherland, her brother, Alexander Sutherland and sister-in-law, Jenny Starbuck and niece, Audrey Sutherland and nephew, Liam Sutherland, and two step-nephews, Jake Gordon and Bentley Starbuck. Her Godbrother Andrew Loupin, Godsister-in-law, Maddie, Loupin and Godniece Piper Loupin. Aunt’s and Uncles Benjie and Jeri Webb, John and Kathy Sutherland, and Roxanne Hagelstein. Special Great Uncles and Aunts, Jim Hughes, Pat Gillen, Claude and Marvin Hurst, Dewayne and Teresa Mount and special cousins, Keighly Mount, Scott Webb, Tyler Webb, Leah Webb, Eddie Hagelstein, Carrie Sutherland, and Conner Sutherland, Tommy Sutherland and JJ Sutherland and Katie Davis. And special close friends, Jason & Marija McKoy, Evan and Amber Perino and Leisa Napier.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 24th at 2:00pm and services will follow at 2:30 pm at McEwen Funeral Home.
