Colleen, Carol, Bill and Kaylee,
Okey and I were so sorry we couldn't be at dear, sweet, saintly Alease's memorial service. She was one dear lady and will be missed by many. There are really no words to describe her, she was one of the best. We loved her so and will miss her in Sunday school, church and JOY Fellowship. You have our deepest sympathy, but we can just see her in Heaven dancing around with with Joey, Mike and Chelsea and all the other gone before.

Psalm. 30 verse 2 O Lord My God,I Cried Unto Thee And Thou Hast Healed Me. Ms Alease Lands is at peace now, No pain, No More Sickness. I can only imagine how often she called out to Jesus to heal her so now she is free from all sickness and sorrow. In the days to come when you think of your Mother, Grandmother, just know that she is in a better place rejoicing with Jesus. I found her to be a woman with Grace ,love, And understanding .may God wrap his arms around all of you during this time of loss of a love one.we will be lifting the family up in prayer.Stanley & Onnie Ford,Fayetteville,NC

Bill, Carol, Colleen, and family of this beautiful Saint. Your mom was like a mother to me growing up as a rambunctious boy at Charlotte Plaza Nazarene. I was thinking of a scripture appropriate to leave here in honor of this wonderful woman, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and good and faithful servant. Two scriptures immediately came to my mind, without delay. Alease always had hope in her Lord and Savior. Today, her strength has been renewed more than any of us could imagine or even comprehend. The scripture says she will soar on wings like eagles, and indeed she most certainly is. Nothing is too far fetched for our God. If He said it, I believe it....Don't you? Why would someone like mom Lands run and walk now? Because she, my mom (Mary Ruth), and so many warriors who have departed this world for the heavenly home, to live forever with Jesus Christ have nothing to do now but run to the side and to the feet of our Messiah. Wow! How marvelous is that? They worship, praise, and shout "holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty" all day long. Yet, Alease will never grow faint!!! Yes, l recommend that any lady who might read this comment, read Proverbs 31. Alease Lands was a Proverbs 31 woman, and she lived that out in her life. I'm glad I was able to see her after leaving Charlotte and moving back to North Carolina. I look forward to joining Alease and my mom, having a good ole fashion reunion some glorious day! God bless Alease Lands, and God bless her children and family. Amen & Amen.

Isaiah 40:3 "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Lands family, your precious momma, there are no words. I can remember her at Plaza when I was small and she always had a smile, a kind word, a stern look and stern word if needed but always with a gentle tone and touch. She was a most precious woman and the world has lost another angel. We always knew she would fly away and leave empty hearts behind. God bless each of you as you travel the future without her on this earth.

Prayers and thoughts to all family members during this time of loss. Your mom always welcomed my sister and I into your home and your church family during our years of growing up on Tipperary Place. God has received another Angel.
