
Alison Garrett Burfield, age 32, and her infant daughter, Rosalind Gertrude Madden, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 and Friday, August 5, 2011, respectfully, due to an automobile accident. Born December 23, 1978 in Falls Church, VA, Garrett was the daughter of Anne Wren Norloff and James Roderick Burfield. Ms Burfield earned a Master’s Degree in Marketing from the University of North Texas. She was founder and owner of Ivy’s Diaper Service.
Garrett is survived by her husband, Joseph Michael Madden; daughter, Ivy Virginia Madden; parents; step parents, Diane Lynn Jemmott and Christopher Scott Norloff; brother, Evan Graham Burfield; sisters, Morgan Wren Long, Fallon Scott Norloff and Hale Wren Norloff; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Arnold Burfield; and in-laws, Michael and Debra Soules.
The memorial service to celebrate the lives of Alison Garret Burfield and Rosalind Gertrude Madden will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Washington, D.C.
