

Alvaro Jaimes Carrillo was born on March 5, 1943, in Bucaramanga, Colombia. He was one of seven siblings and was raised with strong values of faith, family, hard work, and generosity that remained with him throughout his life. In 1969, he began a new chapter of his life in the United States.
From a young age, Alvaro demonstrated exceptional intelligence and determination. He graduated at the top of his high school class and received a scholarship to attend college. He had a special talent for mathematics and was widely recognized for his sharp mind. He also had a deep love for literature and greatly enjoyed reading throughout his life.
Alvaro was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and willingness to help others. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. He found great joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved deeply and cherished wholeheartedly.
He was an open book, genuine and honest in the way he lived his life, and those who loved him appreciated him for those very reasons. His wisdom, warmth, and unique personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Those who knew Alvaro will remember his generosity, quiet strength, and the comfort his presence brought to others. His life was a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen; his sons, Alvaro, Jack, and Jesse; his daughters-in-law, Sally, Ruth, and Erika; and his beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Sylvanna, Jesse, Olivia, Victoria, Jack, Ivan, Athena, Luke, and Anna. He also leaves behind sisters, a brother, nephews, and many more loving relatives and friends who will forever treasure his memory and carry his love in their hearts.
Though his absence leaves a deep sorrow, his family finds peace in the memories shared and comfort in the love and legacy he leaves behind.
