To hear of Drew's death on the news that morning truly touched my heart. I have a duaghter who currently attends AG and I have a son went to AG and currently goes to MP with Drew, so his sudden and tragic death really touched home to the community. I know that grief can be so hard, but the special memories of your son will allow everyone who knew him cope. Although Drew's gone so soon, remember to celebrate the life he lived and the joy he brought to your hearts! I will continue to keep the Wright family in my prayers.

Dear Family and friends of Mr. Wright. Sorry to hear about your loss.I know that you are keeping memories close to help you. Another form of relief that can be used is Gods promise to us. That promise tells us that, The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and reside forever upon it. A promise soon to be fulfilled right here on earth were we are to be with our loved ones again.

I no longer live in Charlotte. But I check CharlotteObserver.com almost every day. I was so sadden to read this tragic story. I'm a bicycle rider; I know that this was accident. I hope that motorist will become more cognizant of cyclist. My prayers for Andrew's family and friends.

I just had to say I am sorry for the loss of your son, eventhough I didn't know him he sounds like he was a well respected young man & was admired by many. Just remember to keep him close to your heart, cause he will live on in memory forever. To his parents he has left this earthly body but he will be around in spirit & he will always be watching over you cause he is an Angel. Our family lives just off Sharon Lane and our thoughts and prayers have been with you since the moment we learned what happened that morning. We hope that you are fully aware of how much our community is thinking of you during this most difficult time.

I cannot begin to tell you the number of times I have cried since the day I heard the news.  I have a son who performed in Zombie Prom along side Andrew and two children who are at Selwyn Elementary.  The loss of Andrew has impacted the community.  I am so saddened for the family.  It is so hard to understand why it happened.

I have a senior at Myers Park and a 7th grader at AGMS so news of your loss reached me quickly during the 7th grade field trip. I felt ill and could not breathe and my thoughts and prayers were immediately for your family. We did not have the honor of knowing Drew but have heard what a kind young man he was. May God bless and keep you at this time of loss. I am a MP parent and both my kids knew Drew, he was in my son's gym class and my daughter was in Zombie Prom with him. They have both taken this hard and will miss him. Our entire family has you in our thoughts and prayers.

On Tuesday morning I received a text from my MP senior that there was a terrible accident on Sharon Lane.  By lunchtime, I received a second text from her that they lost one of their own that morning. It is a big school but they are tightly woven bunch and it has been a week of very heavy hearts for a fallen Mustang.  Students wore green yesterday to honor this well liked young man.
To Andrew's family please know you are in our prayers and thoughts every day.  Find comfort in happy memories of him and let yourself smile at least once a day as you recall the joy of his life and soon he will let you know you're going to be okay until you see him again. May God give you peace.

I am saddened by the loss of such a gentle soul. Andrew was a sweet boy and I'm sure he was a kind, gentle young man.  We knew Andrew (and your family) through Wilson Elementary and Lincoln Intermediate schools... until he moved. I know my daughter Eleanor and all of his friends here will really feel his loss.

I knew Adrew and his family for many years.  My son (Kevin) was best friends with him.  He was such a wonderful kid, that was always welcome into my home. We are very sad, here at the Krause household. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loving family.
