Anne was born May 14, 1948 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Alexander and Catherine Giroux and was one of nine children.
Anne graduated from Edison High School in 1967, she attended Middlesex County College.
Anne married Daniel Kuhn on May 22, 1971. They resided in Middletown, New Jersey and then spent seven years abroad living in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, where she taught English as a Second Language.
Anne is survived by her husband, Dan Kuhn; her daughter, Melissa (David) Dorsch; and son, Dan Jr., (Sarah) Kuhn; her seven grandchildren, Jack, Ella, Han, Anna, Audrey, Bennett and Nolan; and her three remaining siblings: sisters, Mary Miller, Adrienne Nuzzo; and brother, John Giroux.
Anne loved spending time with those she loved. She looked forward to her weekly neighborhood card game and watching sports, whether it was her beloved Carolina Panthers, Golden State Warriors (huge Steph fan) or following Rory golfing on the weekends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren - whether it was watching them play sports or singing alongside
to “Mama Mia”.
She was a fierce fighter when confronted with two incurable diseases for over 3 decades. She battled right up until the end.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation or Blood Cancer United.
There will be no service at this time; however, a celebration of life will take place later this year.
