

Tony was born on March 28, 1987 to Steve and Maggie Cudic. A graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School, Central Piedmont Community College, and UNC Charlotte, Tony held a B.S. in Business Management. Tony worked at Pike’s Nursery most recently while he attended school. He was a member of the Central Piedmont Theatre – he completed three plays with the group at the end of 2020 including “Almost Maine”, “Our Place”, and “A Virtual Whodunnit”, in which he held the starring role. He was most recently preparing for “The Importance of Being Earnest During a Pandemic”. He was passionate about acting and wanted to make an impression on the world with his work.
Tony loved the outdoors. His hobbies included hunting, camping, and hiking. His last trip was in December, when he went to the mountains with his family for a week of hiking and other adventures. Tony prioritized family. His father was his best friend. Over the past couple of years, Tony was there to support his aunt, grandmother, and father in their declining health. Tony loved those close to him fiercely. He was an amazing uncle to his niece and two nephews. He was loyal, hilarious, and present. Tony was a history buff. He loved learning about the World War era as well has his family’s history.
Tony is survived by his mother; his sisters, Rikki Cudic and Caitlin Martin; brother-in-law, Phil Martin; niece, Jocelin Martin; and nephews, Philip and Thomas Martin. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Thom and Marty McManus and John and Emma Cudic; and aunt, Mirjana Cudic.
Tony was always able to lighten the mood, whether with his famous impressions, by breaking into song, his dancing, and his wit. He will be so missed. A COVID safe service will be held on Friday, February 12th at 2pm at McEwen Funeral Home on 10500 Park Road. The service will be livestreamed.
