Barbara Calloway - loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and so much more left us on Sunday Jan 7, 2024 to enter the heavenly gates. At 86 years young she leaves behind her daughter Amy Shober of Charlotte, son Chuck Prosch of Texas, sister Nelda Schultz of Tennessee and many other family and friends.
Meeting her at the gates of heaven was her son Scott Prosch, husband Jerry Calloway, sister Betty Powell, brother Bill Chadwick, her loving parents Ruby and Johnie and many other family members and friends.
Barbara - aka Mama, Mimi and Bobbie - was known for her stylish Chico attire, silly nicknames for others, her pleasant positive demeanor and her love for her family.
A special shoutout to Dr. Kym Furney at Tryon Medical. Through her endless efforts Mama lived her last 7 years of life feeling healthier than she had in years.
