Barbara A. Hall, 80, of Mt. Holly, NC., passed away May 23, 2023 in Belmont. Born March 13, 1943 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of William JC and Marjorie (Ramsey) Toney. She married Melvin Hall on November 10, 1999 in McAdenville, NC.
Barbara retired from the Mint Museum in Charlotte after numerous years of employment.
An avid reader, Barbara enjoyed gardening, traveling, Hallmark Movies, sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Sylvia (Dean) McCombs Purcell, Rita Grim and Beverly “Dee Dee” McCombs; grandchildren, Jeremy (Kerianne) Wilcox, Brandy Lewis and Hayden Grim; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Lillie, McKenzley and Zaria Rose (coming soon); sister, Betty Black and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Myra Jean McCombs; brothers, Bruce and Michael Toney.
